The mobile shredder effectively addresses the constraints of fixed-site operations—eliminating the need for concrete foundations, external power supply, and material hauling between locations. Working Principle

The Haoxing Mobile Shredder operates on the dual-shaft shear shredding principle. The entire system is powered by an onboard diesel engine, which drives a hydraulic system to actuate all core working components, enabling efficient size reduction and primary magnetic separation. The detailed process is as follows:

  • Power generation and transmission: The onboard high-performance diesel engine drives a hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure hydraulic fluid. This fluid is distributed through a control valve manifold to power the shredding chamber, discharge conveyor, magnetic drum and optional crawler undercarriage, delivering stable power to all core functions.

  • Material feeding: Waste material is loaded into the feed hopper by a hydraulic feeding device, such as a grapple or tipping hopper, or by manual feeding. The wide feed opening can handle large, bulky and irregular materials.

  • Dual-shaft shear shredding: Inside the shredding chamber, two parallel cutter shafts rotate in opposite directions at low speed and high torque, driven by hydraulic motors. Heavy-duty alloy blades arranged in an interlocking pattern apply shearing, tearing and compressive forces to the material. The material is continuously reduced into smaller strips or chunks until it passes through the blade clearance and is discharged from the bottom.

  • Material conveying and magnetic separation: Shredded material falls onto the discharge conveyor belt and is transported toward the rear. As it moves, the material passes beneath the onboard magnetic separator. Ferrous materials such as iron, steel and nails are attracted by the magnetic field and discharged into a dedicated ferrous collection area, while non-magnetic materials continue to the end of the conveyor.

  • Mobility and relocation: When relocation is required, the operator can use the hydraulic travel system to move the crawler or tire chassis to a new work site. Hydraulic support legs can stabilize the machine during operation, supporting safer and more stable shredding work.
