Equipment Introduction

Haoxing Machinery's slat conveyor, also called a chain plate conveyor or slat belt conveyor, is a heavy-duty conveying system used for feeding and discharging materials in crushing, shredding and recycling production lines. It uses metal chain plates as the carrying surface and is driven by a motor and reducer.

The conveyor is commonly used with metal crushers, scrap steel shredders, can crushers, aluminum shredders, wood crushers, magnetic separators and sorting equipment. It can transport scrap metal, metal sheets, cans, aluminum scrap, wood waste, appliance shells and other bulk materials according to the production line requirement.

The main components of the slat conveyor include motor, reducer, drive shaft, sprockets, chains, metal slats, support rollers, tensioning device, conveyor frame and discharge section. During operation, the motor drives the reducer and sprockets, moving the chain plates in a continuous loop. Materials are carried from the feeding end to the discharge end for the next processing step.

Conveyor width, length, height, speed, chain plate type and installation angle can be customized according to material size, load capacity, feeding method and site layout. The slat conveyor can be used as a standalone conveying machine or integrated into a complete shredding, crushing, sorting or recycling line.

Working Principle

The slat conveyor, also called a chain plate conveyor, is used for feeding and discharging materials in shredding, crushing and recycling production lines. It is suitable for conveying scrap metal, metal sheets, aluminum scrap, cans, wood waste, bulk materials and other recyclable materials according to the line configuration.

The conveyor is driven by a motor and reducer. The power is transmitted to the drive shaft and sprockets, which pull the chain plates to move in a continuous loop. Materials placed on the metal slats are carried steadily from the feeding end to the discharge end.

The conveyor length, width, height, speed and installation angle can be customized according to material type, material weight, feeding method, equipment layout and site space. It can be designed for horizontal conveying, inclined conveying or feeding into crushers, shredders, sorting equipment and other recycling machines.

For heavy or irregular materials, the conveyor can be equipped with reinforced chain plates, side guards, support rollers, tensioning devices and protective covers according to working conditions.
