The thermal break aluminum pulverizer is a high-speed hammer mill used for the further size reduction of prepared thermal break aluminum profiles and aluminum-plastic material after pre-cutting, primary shredding or initial crushing.

A high-speed rotor drives the hammers to repeatedly impact, deform and further reduce the prepared material. The hammers, liner plates and screen grate work together to produce smaller, screen-controlled pieces and improve the exposure of PA66 insulation strips, rubber seals and other attached materials.

Long profiles, complete window frames, bundled scrap and oversized material are not suitable for direct pulverizer feeding. These materials may first require pre-cutting or primary processing by a thermal break aluminum shredder.

Material requiring initial hammer crushing may first pass through an aluminum profile crusher before entering the finer pulverizing stage. Whether separate crushing and pulverizing stages are required depends on the incoming profile dimensions and expected output size.

After pulverizing, a magnetic separator can recover exposed screws, hinges, steel brackets and other ferrous components from the aluminum-rich material stream.

Screening and material spreading may be added to classify the output and provide more uniform feeding. An eddy current separator may then recover conductive non-ferrous metals from a suitable non-metallic material stream after ferrous metal removal.

An eddy current separator does not normally separate mixed aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metals into individual high-purity products. Additional sorting equipment may be required according to the expected recovered fractions.

The thermal break aluminum pulverizer is a hammer mill crusher used for processing waste thermal break aluminum profiles, aluminum window and door frames, aluminum-plastic composite profiles and similar scrap aluminum materials.

Feeding and Pulverizing

During operation, the material is fed into the crushing chamber by a conveyor or feeding device. The high-speed rotor drives the hammers to repeatedly impact, tear and crush the material. The material is also rubbed and squeezed between the hammers, liner plates and screen grate, helping separate aluminum from plastic strips, rubber seals and other attached materials.

Output Size Control

The screen grate at the bottom of the machine helps control the output size. Materials smaller than the screen openings are discharged from the machine, while larger pieces remain in the crushing chamber until they reach the required size.

Magnetic and Eddy Current Separation

After crushing, the material can be conveyed to a magnetic separator to remove ferrous impurities such as screws, iron fittings, hinges and handles.
