Haoxing Machinery's Thermal Break Aluminum Pulverizer is a specialized hammer mill designed for the efficient size reduction and aluminum-plastic separation of waste thermal break aluminum profiles, scrap aluminum alloys, extrusions, and cast aluminum. Utilizing high-speed rotating hammers made of high-manganese alloy steel, the machine pulverizes material into fine granules while simultaneously liberating aluminum from attached plastics, rubber, and other non-metallic materials. The crushed mixture then undergoes magnetic separation and eddy current separation, yielding clean, high-purity aluminum granules ready for smelting or resale. Working Principle:
Material is fed into the crushing chamber where a high-speed rotor with hammers delivers powerful impact and grinding forces. Repeated striking against hammers and liners reduces the aluminum profiles to small granules, causing the plastic thermal breaks and rubber seals to detach naturally due to differing physical properties. Properly sized granules pass through a bottom screen for downstream sorting.
Process Flow:
The complete thermal break aluminum pulverizing line integrates crushing, conveying, sorting, and dust collection:
Pulverizing: Waste thermal break aluminum is fed into the Pulverizer and reduced to a mixture of aluminum granules and plastic fragments, discharged via conveyor.
Magnetic Separation: The mixture passes through a Magnetic Separator, which removes ferrous contaminants (screws, iron fittings).
Eddy Current Separation: The non-ferrous fraction enters an Eddy Current Separator, where high-frequency magnetic fields repel aluminum granules away from non-conductive plastics and rubber, achieving clean separation.
