Haoxing Machinery's Aluminum Dross Crusher, also called an aluminum slag crusher, is a hammer-type crushing machine used for processing aluminum dross, aluminum slag, aluminum ash blocks, aluminum skimmings and selected aluminum-containing waste materials.

The machine uses a high-speed rotor and hammer assembly to impact, tear and crush aluminum dross materials inside the crushing chamber. During crushing, the material is repeatedly impacted, rubbed and squeezed between the hammers, liner plates and screen grate, reducing large dross blocks or slag agglomerates into smaller particles.

The main machine usually consists of crusher housing, rotor system, hammer assembly, wear-resistant liner plates, screen grate, feeding device, discharge system, drive system and electric control system. A complete production line can include feeding conveyor, aluminum dross crusher, discharge conveyor, magnetic separator, optional vibrating screen, optional pulse dust collector and supporting platform.

After crushing, the material can be conveyed to magnetic separation, screening or other sorting equipment. Ferrous impurities can be removed by magnetic separator, while aluminum-containing particles can be further processed according to material condition and downstream recovery requirements.

Working Principle

The aluminum dross crusher is a hammer-type crushing machine used for processing aluminum dross, aluminum slag, aluminum ash blocks, aluminum skimmings and selected aluminum-containing waste materials. It is mainly used to crush bulky or agglomerated aluminum dross into smaller pieces for screening, magnetic separation, sorting or downstream recovery.

During operation, aluminum dross material is fed into the crushing chamber by conveyor or feeding device. The high-speed rotor drives the hammers to repeatedly impact, tear and crush the material. The material is also rubbed and squeezed between the hammers, liner plates and screen area, gradually reducing large dross blocks or slag agglomerates into smaller particles.

The screen grate at the bottom of the crusher helps control the output size. Materials smaller than the screen openings are discharged from the machine, while larger pieces remain in the crushing chamber for further crushing.

After crushing, the material can be conveyed to a magnetic separator to remove ferrous impurities such as iron pieces, steel parts and other magnetic materials. According to the recycling process, vibrating screen, sorting equipment or other downstream equipment can also be added for further material classification and recovery.

A pulse dust collector can be configured according to material condition and site layout. It helps collect dust and fine particles generated during crushing, conveying and screening.
