Scrap Steel Crushing and Eddy Current Separation Line Shipment
In April 2026, a complete 1600 scrap steel crushing and metal separation production line was shipped to a Southeast Asian customer specializing in metal recycling and scrap processing.
The project was designed based on the customer’s raw material, which mainly includes scrap steel, car body panels, light mixed metal and non-ferrous components. The customer required a stable system that could handle mixed materials and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals efficiently.

The production line is composed of a twin shaft shredder, heavy-duty scrap metal crusher, magnetic separation system, eddy current separator, vibrating feeder and conveyor units. The eddy current separator plays an important role in recovering aluminum and other non-ferrous metals after crushing.
The crusher model used in this line is the 1600 type, designed for continuous operation under high load conditions. It can process large pieces of scrap steel and compress loose materials into uniform output size, making it suitable for downstream sorting and melting.
Before shipment, the entire system was assembled and tested in our factory. Each machine was checked for stability, feeding efficiency and discharge performance. Particular attention was given to the compatibility between the crusher and the separation system.
After testing, all equipment was disassembled, reinforced and packed according to export standards. The machines were loaded into containers under supervision to ensure proper placement and balance during transportation.
The shipment was completed smoothly, and all equipment was delivered on schedule. Our engineering team will provide remote installation guidance and further technical support to help the customer bring the recycling line into operation.
This project reflects HX Machinery’s practical experience in delivering scrap steel recycling lines and integrated metal separation solutions, meeting the needs of customers in different recycling environments.
