Hubei Changshen Alloy – HXPS-1600 Aluminum Shredder Processing Cast Aluminum Scrap | Case Study

In March 2022, Hubei Changshen Alloy Materials Co., Ltd. signed a procurement agreement with Gongyi Haoxing Machinery for an HXPS-1600 aluminum scrap shredder. Two years on, the shredding line remains a core part of their secondary aluminum operations. The customer primarily feeds mixed cast aluminum scrap, aluminum alloy offcuts, and light-gauge aluminum profiles into the machine. The HXPS-1600 consistently processes 8–15 tons per hour at high output purity, giving the recycler a reliable, low-fines clean fraction for downstream melting. Changshen's plant manager reports that the equipment operates with virtually no unplanned downtime, and the rotor and wear liners have exceeded life expectations under daily production. Routine maintenance is limited to scheduled lubrication and periodic inspection, with no major overhauls required. The Haoxing HXPS-1600 has become a trusted workhorse in their aluminum recycling yard.
