Founded in 2013 and headquartered in the Tongliang Industrial Park of Chongqing, Saineng Aluminum Alloy Co., Ltd. occupies a site of over 70 mu (approx. 4.7 hectares) and specializes in the R&D and production of die-casting aluminum liquid and aluminum alloy ingots, backed by a qualified scrap non-ferrous metal recycling operation. The company holds an annual direct-supply capacity of 100,000 tonnes of aluminum alloy and is also licensed for hazardous waste management, specifically the collection and recycling of aluminum dross. It is listed among the key supervised hazardous waste generators in Tongliang District and supplies many auto and motorcycle parts manufacturers across the Sichuan-Chongqing region.
Every day, Saineng deals with a heavy stream of mixed aluminum scrap sourced across Sichuan and Chongqing: demolition door & window profiles, offcuts returned by auto parts factories, and aluminum castings pulled from end-of-life vehicle yards. The feed is bulky, highly mixed, and laden with contaminants. Their previous crusher jammed constantly — workers had to climb in and clear blockages every couple of days. Whenever "crushing" was mentioned on the shop floor, the crew would groan.
In October 2022, Saineng commissioned a 1200 aluminum scrap crusher and a 1000 double shaft shredder from Gongyi Haoxing Machinery. The shredder first tears down profiles and castings into a uniform mid-size fraction, and the crusher then takes it down to the ideal furnace feed size. Paired with a dust collection and conveying system, the line takes mixed scrap and puts out clean, consistent aluminum particles. Over three-plus years, the shop has not suffered a single jam. What excited Saineng even more is the noticeably lower melt loss — the aluminum fraction comes out with minimal fines and a uniform particle size, and the melting team quickly realized they were skimming far less dross. “With the same charge weight, we're now fishing out noticeably less slag from the furnace — that alone saves us tens of thousands each year,” said Mr. Jiang, the company veteran who runs the operation.
When Saineng was evaluating suppliers, peers recommended equipment makers from Zhejiang, Guangdong, and beyond, with prices ranging across the board. But Mr. Jiang cut through the noise with one decisive move: instead of sitting through slide decks, he asked Haoxing to take him to a local Chongqing site where the same equipment was already running. After that visit, he came back and said, “We don't need to look any further.” Some twenty-plus days after startup, Mr. Jiang picked up the phone and called Haoxing unsolicited: “That machine of yours runs even smoother after the break-in period than when it was first fired up.”
