Equipment Introduction

Aluminum Alloy Crusher

Haoxing Machinery's Aluminum Alloy Crusher is a hammer-type crushing machine used for processing scrap aluminum alloys, cast aluminum parts, aluminum profiles, thermal break aluminum, aluminum window and door frames, aluminum sheets, UBCs and other recyclable aluminum materials.

The machine uses a high-speed rotor and hammer assembly to impact, tear and crush aluminum scrap inside the crushing chamber. During crushing, the material is repeatedly impacted, rubbed and squeezed between the hammers, liner plates and screen grate, reducing bulky aluminum scrap into smaller pieces.

The main machine usually consists of crusher housing, rotor system, hammer assembly, wear-resistant liner plates, screen grate, feeding device, discharge system, drive system and electric control system. A complete production line can include feeding conveyor, aluminum alloy crusher, discharge conveyor, magnetic separator, optional eddy current separator, dust collector, vibrating feeder and supporting platform.

After crushing, the material can be conveyed to magnetic separation or other sorting equipment. Ferrous impurities can be removed by magnetic separator, while aluminum and other non-ferrous metals can be further processed by eddy current separation, screening or manual sorting according to material condition and recycling requirements.

The aluminum alloy crusher is commonly used in aluminum scrap recycling plants, aluminum profile recycling sites, secondary aluminum processing projects, metal recovery production lines and scrap recycling yards.

Working Principle

Detailed process of crushing, sorting, and dust removal for aluminum alloy crusher

Aluminum Alloy Crushing and Sorting Process

The aluminum alloy crusher is a hammer-type crushing machine used for processing scrap aluminum alloy materials, cast aluminum parts, aluminum profiles, aluminum sheets, aluminum window and door frames, machinery aluminum and other recyclable aluminum materials.

Feeding and Crushing

During operation, aluminum scrap enters the crushing chamber through a feeding conveyor or feeding device. The high-speed rotor drives the hammers to repeatedly impact, tear and crush the material. The material is also rubbed and squeezed between the hammers, liner plates and screen grate, gradually reducing bulky aluminum scrap into smaller pieces.

Output Size Control

The screen grate at the bottom of the crusher helps control the output size. Materials smaller than the screen openings are discharged from the machine, while larger pieces remain in the crushing chamber for further crushing.

Magnetic and Eddy Current Separation

After crushing, the material can be conveyed to a magnetic separator to remove ferrous impurities such as iron screws, steel parts and other magnetic materials. Depending on the recycling process, an eddy current separator can also be added to separate aluminum and other conductive non-ferrous metals from non-metallic materials such as plastic and rubber.

Dust Collection

A dust collector can be configured according to the material condition and site layout. It helps collect dust and fine particles generated during crushing and conveying.

Aluminum Alloy Crushing and Sorting Line Configuration

A complete aluminum alloy crushing and sorting line can include:

  • Aluminum alloy crusher main unit

  • Feeding conveyor

  • Discharge conveyor

  • Magnetic separator

  • Eddy current separator (optional)

  • Pulse dust collector (optional)

  • Vibrating feeder (optional)

  • Electric control cabinet

  • Supporting platform and auxiliary equipment

Features and Advantages

Scrap Aluminum Crushing and Sorting Production Line

Aluminum Alloy Crusher Features

Heavy-Duty Hammer Crushing Structure

The aluminum alloy crusher uses a high-speed rotor and hammer system to crush aluminum alloy scrap, cast aluminum parts, aluminum profiles, aluminum sheets and other recyclable aluminum materials.

Wear-Resistant Hammers

The hammers can be made of wear-resistant alloy materials according to the material type and production requirements. The hammer structure and material can be selected according to the aluminum scrap hardness, feeding size and output requirements.

Reinforced Crusher Housing

The machine body is built with a reinforced steel structure and wear-resistant liner plates. It is suitable for the continuous crushing of aluminum alloy scrap and other lightweight non-ferrous metal materials.

Screen-Controlled Output Size

The bottom screen grate can be selected according to the required output size. Different screen openings are available for different materials and downstream sorting requirements.

Magnetic Separation Available

After crushing, the material can pass through a magnetic separator to remove ferrous impurities such as iron screws, steel parts and other magnetic materials. This prepares the aluminum material for further sorting.

Optional Eddy Current Separation

An eddy current separator can be installed after magnetic separation. It helps separate aluminum and other conductive non-ferrous metals from non-metallic materials according to material composition and particle size.

Optional Dust Collection

A pulse dust collector can be added according to the material condition and site layout. It helps collect dust and fine particles generated during crushing and conveying.

Customizable Production Line

The production line can be customized according to the material type, required capacity, output size and site layout. Available customization options include:

  • Feeding method

  • Crusher model

  • Motor power

  • Screen opening

  • Conveyor layout

  • Magnetic separator

  • Eddy current separator

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Find common questions about scrap metal crushers, shredders, recycling lines, equipment selection, capacity configuration and operation requirements.

QHow do I choose a suitable aluminum alloy crusher model?

A

The suitable model depends on aluminum alloy type, feeding size, material thickness, hourly capacity, discharge size, motor power, power supply, and separation requirements. Customers can provide material photos, videos, size information, and expected capacity, and we can recommend a suitable aluminum alloy crushing and recycling solution.

QWhat final discharge size can be obtained after crushing aluminum alloy scrap?

A

The final discharge size depends on the crusher model, screen opening, hammer or blade structure, feeding size, material thickness, and recycling requirements. The machine can be configured to produce suitable aluminum alloy pieces for sorting, transportation, storage, remelting, or further separation.

QCan an aluminum alloy crusher be used in a complete recycling line?

A

Yes. An aluminum alloy crusher can be used in a complete recycling line with feeding conveyors, crushing equipment, discharge conveyors, magnetic separators, eddy current separators, air separation equipment, dust removal systems, and electric control cabinets. The final configuration can be customized according to material type, capacity requirement, site layout, and recovery target.

QWhat materials can an aluminum alloy crusher process?

A

An aluminum alloy crusher can process various aluminum alloy scrap materials, such as aluminum profiles, aluminum sheets, aluminum castings, aluminum alloy parts, machine aluminum scrap, aluminum wheels, and mixed non-ferrous metal scrap. If the material contains iron, plastic, rubber, or other impurities, suitable separation equipment can be added.

QWhat is a scrap metal shredder used for?

A

A scrap metal shredder is used to reduce the size of recyclable metal materials such as car body shells, steel drums, light scrap steel, aluminum scrap, and mixed metal waste for easier sorting, transportation, and recycling.

QWhat is the capacity of a 2000-type aluminum alloy crusher?

A

The capacity of a 2000-type aluminum alloy crusher can reach around 15,000 kg per hour under suitable material and feeding conditions. Actual output depends on material size, hardness, feeding method, and discharge requirements.

QWhat motor power is needed for 3 to 10 tons per hour?

A

The required motor power depends on material type, feeding size, machine model, and output requirements. A 22 kW motor may be suitable for some small applications, while larger production lines require higher power.
