The Aluminum Recycling Line employs a purely physical, multi-stage process:
Shredding (Primary Size Reduction): Bulky scrap such as thermal break aluminum and extrusions is fed into a Dual-Shaft Shredder, which shears the material into smaller, manageable strips for downstream processing.
Hammer Milling (Fine Crushing): The shredded material enters the Hammer Mill Crusher, where high-speed hammers and impact liners pulverize it into fine granules while liberating attached rubber, plastic, and other non-metallics.
Magnetic Separation: The crushed mixture passes under a high-intensity magnetic drum separator, which removes ferrous contaminants (nails, screws, hinges, handles).
Multi-Stage Screening: The de-ironed material is classified by a linear vibrating screen into multiple size fractions to optimize eddy current separation efficiency.
Eddy Current Separation: Each sized fraction is processed by an Eddy Current Separator. High-frequency magnetic fields eject aluminum granules away from non-conductive plastics and rubber, achieving clean separation.
Dust Collection: A pulse baghouse dust collector captures airborne particulates throughout the process, ensuring a clean, compliant workspace with reduced noise and dust.
